The Eggox Way

A short list of how to act here. Most of it you knew already.

Do

Build
Fill your space, then fill a street. Make it weird, make it yours.
Say hi
Everyone at the quay was new once. Make friends, hang out, talk nonsense.
Show off
Made a hat? Wear it. Made a chair? Put it where people walk past. Your name is on it.
Explore
Pick a place you've never heard of from GO SOMEWHERE. Somebody built it for you to find.
Help out
Someone lost on their first day? Show them GO SOMEWHERE. You'll want the favour back one day.
Ring and wait
A waygate set to RING means the owner wants to say yes first. If nobody answers, come back later.

Cheat or automate
The server decides where you are, what you own and what you said, so cheats don't work here. Running your account with a script costs you the account.
Sell for real money
Nothing in Eggox changes hands, on purpose. Anyone offering to buy or sell things or accounts for real cash outside the game is a trickster. Don't fall for it, and don't be one.
Be a creep
The shared world is for adults, and that's not a licence to be gross. Unwanted advances, harassment and following people around are out.
Troll
Bullying, slurs and hate have no place here.
Pretend to be someone else
Not another player, not us. Your name is your name.
Share your account
Your password is yours. Nobody from Eggox will ever ask for it, and what's done on your account is yours to answer for.
Pass off someone's work as yours
Everything carries its maker's name, so it shows anyway, and an exact copy of someone's frames won't even save. Make your own!

We can remove any account that breaks it. Cheating, selling for real money and harassing people can cost you yours straight away.

Chat, messages and friends only open after the age check. Someone who hasn't done it can build in their own spaces, but can't talk to you.

Things can't be traded, given or sold, so nobody can talk you out of them. And there's no money in the game to lose.

Your browser only draws what the server says. Nobody can get past your space's gate, copy an item or pretend to be you.
