Portals

What it is

A portal pair is two blank doors. Plant both on your own land and link them. Stand on one and double-click it to come out of the other. Perfect for joining two plots of yours, or shortcutting across a big one.

Where to get one

The Market, TRANSPORT aisle: a portal pair, two blank portals, free. Blank portals all look the same, so any two of yours will do.

Linking

Plant one portal, then the other. Click either, open its window and pick the other from the list of your unlinked portals. That's it: one connection per portal, mutual. Pick either end up and the link breaks; plant it again and link it again.

Good to know

• Portals link your own gates to each other. Linking across owners with a code exists on the server but isn't in the window yet.
• Portals work between places in the world. They can't reach your spaces: the way into a space is its gate.
• A portal is not a public door. It's not in the Navigator; only people who can reach one end can use it.
